When we move to a beach house , there was a question about home security system.
As it turned out, they are very expensive and also have other shortcomings.
Such as:
1. Most DIY home security systems rely on spotty home WiFi networks, that's means : downed power lines, spotty WiFi, or nefarious tampering.
2. Most DIY systems don't have Smash and Grab Protection, which prevents burglars from bypassing the alarm by simple smashing or unplugging the alarm and removing the batteries.
I found Cove Smart security system, on https://dealspotr.com/getcode/511ZZ (now 30% OFF with the CODE "MILENANARCISO") It is the quality of the big guys like ADT and Vivint, but half the cost and connected, no matter what.
